DESCRIPTION:
The HDUSB Series, 40, 60 and 80GB USB 2.0 Hard Drives use the much faster USB 2.0 protocol, with bus speed of 480 Mb/s. The units are built around Maxtor 7200 RPM Hard Drives. They can be used with PCs running Windows 98SE, ME, XP or 2000. They are backward compatible with USB 1.1.

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS:
The HDUSB Series are high-speed portable storage devices. They are ideal for file backup and transferring large files between computers. These devices require a computer with a USB 2.0 connection, for high speed operation. USB 2.0 can be added to desktop and laptop computers by using our IC-250U or PU-212B add-in cards. An external power supply is included.
