DESCRIPTION:
The Model FPT-DXX-US Flash Card Reader/Writer is designed to bridge between your computer and Digital Cameras, Personal Digital assistants (PDA), Personal Organizers, Voice recorders, MP3 Players or other mobile electronic products using Flash Cards as standard or extended data storage media. The Reader/Writer operates as a removable drive which allows you to upload digital images and data instantly and easily to your computer. The unit reads from and writes to, all 5 common types of flash memory cards.

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS:
The FPT-DXX-US can be used with Windows® or Macintosh® computers equipped with USB ports. Drivers are furnished for Windows 98 and 2000. The unit installs automatically with Windows ME and XP. No drivers are needed. A Macintosh driver works with OS 8.5 or higher (Not OS X). The unit installs as the next available hard drive letters. Cards can be inserted or removed with power applied. The built-in 16MB or 32MB of flash memory can only be used when the Smart Media card is not inserted.
